The group has been listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) since 1997, and the group has expanded from weaving to oneloom to become the largest producer of mechanical carpets in the world. Based on the established Egyptian textile heritage, which dates back to about 5000 BC, the Oriental Weavers Group is today the world’s leading manufacturer of carpets, printed carpets or digitally printed.
