“GESCO” is a Libyan Based and registered joint venture Company established in 2001.
We are specialized in the Power sector-related business, especially Steam and Gas Power Plant rehabilitation and maintenance.
Throughout the last 20 years, GESCO has achieved a wide range of services, not only in one region but throughout the Libyan geographical area, the company has 15 associated sites that cover the majority of Libya’s cities, including (Tripoli, Misrata, Benghazi, Alkhums, Al-Zawia, Zweitina, Derna, Obari, Al- Sarir, Tobruq, Bomba Gulf, Soussa, Jaghboub, Tazerbu, Ghat).
Our History
The Global Electricity Services Company was founded in 2001 to meet the increasing demand in the energy sector. We specialized in power-related services, especially the rehabilitation and maintenance of Steam and Gas power plants. We have won several major contracts for the rehabilitation of steam Power Plants (i.e. Khoms, Tobruk, Benghazi, and Derna) which are owned by General Electric Company of Libya, (GECOL). In 2007, our company has grown significantly, providing quality and limitless services in power, electro mechanic services, spare parts supply, automation, system upgrade, logistic support services, and procurements to local clients.
